The falling tatters around her, such as a belt, sash, and other clothing items make me think she dived overboard, and shed the trappings of humanity. She is not a mermaid, but the anklet she wears goes suggest some wealth in life above sea. Look beyond your discriminations based on a glance, and imagine instead what could put a fantasy character in this image. Very nice image all around. |
