I disagree. I don't get a feeling of "cold" at all with all the blue. I think the warm tone of this particular blue and the direction of the light coming in overhead makes it look bright an open.
A sphere amongst cubes. Deep.

I like the metallic surfaces and the eye pull of the round ball; however, I wonder if it isn't a bit too blue? Makes the feeling cold, perhaps a bit more silver mixed in?
