Hi everyone! We're hard at work trying to keep our community clean, so if you see any spam, please report it here and we'll review ASAP! Thanks a million!
I did it! At last I've made and uploaded 100 walls to Desktop Nexus!
Here is how I made this wall. (If the detailed explanation is not of interest to you, just skip it and go to the easy one!)
Details
There are 100 different colors of stars in this fractal design. I made certain of this by reproducing all 216 of my graphic arts program's (hex numbered) hues in a chart of colored stars. I then erased 116 of the stars and had 100 stars left to have fun with.
I toyed with a kaleidoscope tool, but I ruled it out, because there was no guarantee that every color would show in a design. I ended up using a fractal tool because it showed the most number of stars, and because I liked what I saw.
I'm fairly certain that all 100 colors of stars can be seen in this design. But to be absolutely certain that all colors showed, I put all of the stars into the shape of the number "100." I put 20 stars in the "one", and 40 stars each in the two zeros. I decreased the size of the 100, and placed that number on two dark violet hearts that are in the upper left and lower right hand corners of the wallpaper. (I wish I hadn't had to shrink the 100 down quite so much. Maybe I'll use it in another design sometime.)
Easy Summary:
1. This is my 100th DN wallpaper. 2. 100 different star colors in the wall = my 100 walls now on DN. 3. Each and every star color is definitely in this wall. 4. Yahooooooooooooooooooooooo!

PS. Thank you so much to Komodo, Mimi Bunny, Fireangls4, and all the other people who keep Desktop Nexus up and running. I have made many wonderful friends on this website, and I love designing wallpaper. All in all, Desktop Nexus is an Allstar experience.
(On 01/27/18, Desktop Nexus had a major crash. 52 of my wallpapers could not be recovered. So for anyone who may be counting, that's the reason that this wall doesn't appear to be my 100th wallpaper. I'm sure glad that I didn't lose this one!)
