The best definition a Muslim can give you with regards to the concept of the God in Islam, is to quote to you the following chapter of the Quran. chapter 112 called, Surat-al-Ikhlaas (chapter of purity). in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
1- قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Say: He is Allah, the Ahad (the One and Only);
2- اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
Allah, the Samad (Eternal and Absolute)
3- لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
He begets not, nor was He begotten;
4- وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
And there is none comparable unto Him.
