A Contented Carousel Cow

I am so glad that I can finally add a wallpaper to the Desktop Nexus cow group! I hope that other people will join it also. It has less than a dozen wallpapers so far, although there are many pages of cows on DN.

This is a photograph that I took of a mural on a wooden 1913 Herschell-Spillman Carousel. It's located at Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan. This Carousel is 100 years old this year and is still running. They really knew how to build them back then!

They also knew how to make a carnival ride attractive and interesting. This contented cow in a field is only one of several murals that go around the top of the carousel. I'll be making wallpapers of a couple of the other ones in the near future.
