The sacred month of Ramadan has come to visit us once again. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and a time when Muslims across the world will fast during the hours of daylight (Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and sexual activities from dawn until sunset). fasting during the month of Ramadan is the fourth pillar of Islam and it's obligatory on every adult Muslim able to do it. The revelation of the Qur'an to the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) started during this month. The actual night that the Qur'an was revealed is a night known as Lailat-ul-Qadr ('The Night of Power').
