A Wimpy Winter... NOT !!!

Reporting in from Michigan's Lower Penninsula...we've had PLENTY of winter around here lately. We got blasted with snow several days ago, and now we are getting MORE! 6 inches has fallen so far where I live, with about 6 more on the way. And tomorrow we are getting bone chilling temperatures served up with it.

But we aren't the only ones!

Much of the Eastern United States and Canada are currently getting this kind of weather. I've heard that crops are in danger of freezing clear down in Florida.

I have to admit it...several times in the past couple of years, I've called Michigan's winter weather "wimpy." Well, not this year! This 2013-2014 Winter is making up for any and all wimpiness of past years here.

So in this wallpaper I'm admitting it. Note the huge snowflake in the background. I'm certain it's been taking steroids, and there are plenty more rough & tough snowflakes just like it!

One thing for sure, if you're looking for Wimpy Winter Weather, you aren't going to find it in Michigan this year.

Here in NORTHERN Ontario it is bitterly cold again. We have already broken a few low temperature records. There is about two feet of snow on the ground right now.. It is -52 right now. The cold snap is supposed to end tomorrow and move up to more seasonal temperatures. Stay warm everyone..
