Halloween

Mystic winds quickly chill the air
As we summon the spirits our way,
As it paints paradise while creeping
Through shadows of the day.

Witches are snickering above us,
Fiery silhouettes screaming by,
Arisen from the scheme of dreaming
Where clouds were crossing the sky.

Our masks of melancholic make up
Shroud us within our other sides,
Any likeness that we possess
Drowns deep down in disguise.

As the old legend leads us
Into a fog filled grave yard
Soil is shaking, barriers are breaking,
And the night is not far.

We fire the faces of Jack-o-lanterns,
Welcoming the spirits with evil grins,
Unto spicy streets in service
As the masquerade begins.
