I'm sure that I'm not the only one in North America to notice that Winter seems to be in an all fired hurry to get here this year. In Michigan it has resulted in extremely cold temperatures that have driven 95 percent of our beautiful Autumn Leaves off the trees earlier than usual.
Every Fall I collect all sorts of leaves and photograph them together. Then I use a kaleidoscope tool from my graphic arts program to make designs out of them.
I decided to make this particular design as much like a snowflake as possible. I give our chilly weather full credit for this idea.
