Striped candy canes & peppermints are so pretty! Peppermint candy is enjoyed year round, but it's the most popular during December. Candy canes are often used as Christmas tree ornaments. The traditional white canes striped with thick red & skinny red stripes are among my favorites to use on our tree.

Candy canes are made in so many flavors and varieties now! Cranberry, butterscotch, rootbear, pina colada, chocolate -- you can find just about anything. And the colors! They come in every color of the rainbow.

When my children were little, it was hard to keep them from eating all the candy canes off our tree! Finally, I started buying extra canes to replenish the tree with. And at the moment, I'm enjoying a Hershey's chocolate mint cane...
