Hi everyone! We're hard at work trying to keep our community clean, so if you see any spam, please report it here and we'll review ASAP! Thanks a million!
Boy, does time fly. I created this quilt wallpaper back in May. I planned to upload it before the month was over, but somehow it's August already!
I did upload 3 quilts back in May, and I'm uploading 2 more today. Below is the story of how & why I came to make them all.

I've never been very good at sewing. When I was in 7th grade, I was required to make a skirt for home economics class. I chose a drawstring skirt pattern so I wouldn't have to struggle with putting a zipper in it. I reluctantly wore it to the 7th grade "fashion show", and when that was over. I hid it at the back of my closet and never wore it again.
There is one thing that I've often wished that I did know how to make, however. At the State Fair each year, I loved looking at and admiring the Patchwork Quilts. They were so beautiful, with a comforting homemade look to them.
Maybe someday I will learn how to make one. For now though, I am happy that I can stitch some up on my computer.
There Are actual stitches in the 3 quilts that I've just created! That's because I based these on a photo or two of--you guessed it-- quilts I photographed at the last State Fair that I went to.
Here is the link to my 5th "Midnight" quilt. https://abstract.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/2154698/
Here are links to the 3 quilts that I uploaded back in May:

And one more--I decided to include this one because I made it with a State Fair Photo of a real quilt also. (I made it back in 2012 for Puppydawg/Roger's birthday.)
