I had difficulty in understanding miracles until it dawn to me that what is behind it is Holy spirit, God's active force that controls, counteracts all other forces of nature like gravity in this case. Complete trust in God enables God's Holy Spirit to flow thru a person and perform miracles..., like being given your sight back if blind or being able to walk if lame and even being raised from the dead.
