Wow! 1913!
This old beauty is not far ahead of the days when dogs used to accompany the horse-drawn fire engine to clear a path in traffic and to help settle those same horses once they'd arrived. Often the Dalmatian was used for both its height and its spotted coat which would stand out in a crowded street! ...and the tradition continues, if only in mascot form. I love how you can see all its working gadgets and get a load of that hand-crank up front! Ugh! Terrific pic! Thanks! -Cassandra fav+1
