This render is based on many reference photos and videos of Oatman road right ouside of Kingman, Arizona before you go into the mountains to Oatman, Arizona. This stretch of road is now state road 66 and used to be U.S. Route 66.
A youtube video of a trip along Oatman Road: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdzMIE4mHb8 The camera that shot this video was mounted very low to the ground. If you are prone to carsickness you may not want to watch the portion shot in the mountians as the road curves quite a bit.
