That's fascinating Elaine. I had never seen this type of sign either. I wonder if its used only in certain countries.

PS. I've never seen one of these before, so I googled it to find out what it meant. You probably already know this, Kathy, but it means the termination of a road where a driver cannot proceed straight ahead or to the right or the left at the terminal point.

if it were ME heading towards a sign like this one, I'm afraid I would get so fascinated with the pattern that I would drive right up to it, stop, and stare at it for an hour... lol
