I like the pretty purple flowers & the cute kitty cat. This is an illustration isn't it? So the artist can make it whatever they want, fake moon, green water or pigeon waiting to poop on a tourist ...

I agree. I still love this painting and would have it on my wall cause I'd say; well, it also could be just the glistening of the water and some other type of pollution, i.e. petrochemicals from motorized boats. I love Venice, and it will always be one of my favorite cities of the Mediterranean Sea. I also love realism in art so, I do see the beauty of this painting. [*Â¬*]

Hi Emma, You're right, Venice is in trouble today. But this is only artwork, and i think it is correct when D. Davison shows it correctly... just like in reality.

but canal's water looks heavily polluted with human waste, and that moon looks like holographic projection of something else..., oops being too critical..., forgive?
