I agree. I still love this painting and would have it on my wall cause I'd say; well, it also could be just the glistening of the water and some other type of pollution, i.e. petrochemicals from motorized boats. I love Venice, and it will always be one of my favorite cities of the Mediterranean Sea. I also love realism in art so, I do see the beauty of this painting. [*¬*]

Hi Emma, You're right, Venice is in trouble today. But this is only artwork, and i think it is correct when D. Davison shows it correctly... just like in reality. :(
