Butterflies are well-known insects with bright and colourful wings.Together with moths,butterflies make up the order Lepidoptera,whichholds over 150,000 species.Studies show there were about 15,000 butterfly species exist globally. Butterflies are found in any environment all over the world.Whether its wet and dry or hot and cold, at sea level or high on mountains they seem to adapt everywhere but most butterfly species are found in tropical areas,especially rainforests.
