She's totally a caucasian model posing as a geisha. The pic loses it's intended effect and identity with the most important aspect missing, a Japanese model.

I love everything about this pic....the only thing that bothers me is that her face doesn't look Japanese....she looks caucasian to me.....but this picture is lovely.....+1 :)
