I own a print of this painting. Bought it originally in 1988. I had it reset in a new frame and glass in around 2000. I am considering reframing it as I want to hang it in a different room. However, I understand that even the print is quite valuable. Would worry that I might not get it back. The artist is John Pitre and it is titled "Restriction". It is a mesmerizing painting.

Has anyone the name of this painting, or the artist that did the original work. I also have early childhood memories of this paint and was mesmerize by the full-size print with the older angel watching from the clouds

I owned this painting in 1972, when I was 3 yr old. My mother took me to the John Hancock building, I sat in front of the painting for hours and when she finally decided she was done walking through the mall... I still had yet to move... I love this painting and truly wish to know who painted it. For it was lost in a house fire.
This is not the full original, the painting was much taller and in the clouds there was a shelf, on that shelf of clouds was another angel, on a pegasus watching as this one raised his hand for help, The other watched on, calm expression, without making a move to help.

hi i have been looking for this painting for a long time i dont know who painted it or what it is called how did u find it and do u know what it is called please my mom had this painting when she was young and never got it back please Help if anyone knows
