'Very nice but strange' the soil is cracked and barren. The few trees that were remaining,are now being swept away by the wind. The only thing left alive other than her and the dog,is the red rose. It appears that she is protecting it from the rain.......Could it be 'ACID RAIN', is that what our artist is trying to convey to us??
