Our Field of Flowers

I see a Field of Flowers, all Beautiful,
Do you want to hear about my flower garden?
Some of my flowers are colourful and you spot
them at once,
Others are more pastel and filled with charm.
Some are small and a little shy.
One is like a tree, totally sure about everything,
but is easily broken in a storm.
Others are small; be careful not to
step on them.
Some of them carry thorns, they hurt -
In my Field of Flowers you will find all kinds.
They will all need different treatment,
because each one hides a little riddle.
A couple can be vulnerable and frail,
so these we will try to make - a little stronger,
give them faith in themselves so they can meet
every day and evening.
Another one uses his thorns on others,
men do not blame him;
there is probably a reason,
we often find out too late.
The neighbouring flower has not
behaved very nicely either.
The Flowers need love and care,
so they thrive in this little field.
And they all have one thing in common;
They all need each other.
Let us all do everything possible
to give our flowers what they need
so they can blossom in their most beautiful colours.
This is something to consider
here in this Field of Flowers
where we all are.
