Sandved worked at National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. and in 1960, by chance he came upon an old dusty box on a shelf and inside was a butterfly with the perfect letter F on its wing. This inspired the idea of finding all the letters of the alphabet in the patterns on the wings of butterflies. [url=http://www.glitter-graphics.com][/url]

Thank you Stacy for this unique wall. I had a calender with butterflies with different numbers om them but not the alphabet.
