I Love the Rain
They were waiting with anticipation
Their little faces in the wind
As clouds were building in the sky
Such a magical kind of blend

The daisies butter yellow
Their beauty delightful to see
Dryness in their roots though
They were worried it seemed to me

The little buzzing bumble bees
Felt a change was coming too
The air was fresh with almost rain
A time that would soon renew

The lake was ready as well
Soon some moisture would fall
Plopping drops of water
One of nature’s important calls

It’s always so rejuvenating
When the sky is not so tame
Mother Nature works her magic
I do so love the rain!
