I'm guilty of this, and I am guilty of failing to water the family tree when possible. Im guilty of trying to start a new tree, new roots in unfortunately poor soil. I'm not sorry, for trying, I'm sad my roots are so shallow,that they never stuck into terra firma, and I have no way of repairing a family tree, that is so broken and fragile, that its best to leave well enough alone, than to try to bring back to life. I hope the offshoots can someday be tall strong and wiser.
